Victoria Campbell Photography print shop is about capturing serenity and peace – whether it’s as whimsical as a sprig of eucalyptus or as pensive as fog on Lake Superior – that others can experience, at home, at work or wherever they need an escape. I was immediately struck by the extremity of the seasons when I moved to Minnesota and the change that comes with them. I find that change a challenge and an inspiration as there are always new things to capture. My work primarily takes place in Minnesota but occasionally shots from recent travels or a visit home to the Shropshire hills make their way into my collection of prints.
With photography experience dating back to age 16, I cemented my Minnesotan career at the heritage Faribault Woolen Mill in 2014, acting as freelance Photographer and Art Director, having worked on 6 of the companies catalogs. My most recent projects outside of Faribault Woolen Mill include work with clients such as North Made Company, Pumphouse Creamery, Cocoon By Elizabeth Geisler and The Riveter Magazine. I also photograph and manage all of the social media channels for Broders' Pasta Bar, Broders' Cucina and Terzo Wine Bar, a well known local Italian restaurant enterprise. Most recently I have designed and curated a brand new website for Terzo and Broders Pasta Bar. My influences come from my surroundings; a hike I have taken, a new city I have visited or a company/person I have been inspired by. I aim to capture personality and life in my images whether it be people, food or styled product shots and pride myself on making whoever or whatever I am shooting to feel natural and relatable.
Outside of my work I spend a lot of my time in the great Minnesotan outdoors or travelling to new countries and states, almost always accompanied with my camera, husband and pup. Travelling is a huge part of who I am, it is actually what brought my husband and I together in the south of France 5 years ago and what ultimately brought me to the USA from my home in the UK. I thrive in new cultures and love nothing more than meeting and collaborating with new and interesting people.
